Friday 12th December, 10 days out of hospital and progress is slow, but at least Mum is pain free and lucid. Have had some nice chats with her. I have missed her whilst she was so ill.

- Pine Cottage B&B is owned and managed by Nicola and John, who, between them have a host of hospitality experience. Nicola grew up in an 8 room guesthouse in Oranjezicht and assisted in the day to day management from her mid teens. She has also run 3 other guesthouses in Cape Town while their owners went on holiday. Nicola and John managed a 13 room Guesthouse for a year and an 8 bedroom traditional pub for 3 months in Southampton UK. In summer enjoy our solar heated (fenced) pool and make use of our braai/barbecue facilities. Restaurant reservations, Shuttle service, picnic baskets, car hire, laundry and fax services available on request. Secure off road parking available. Secure undercover lock-up for motor bikes and bicycles. Choose from a loft room (one double and one twin), with shared bar fridge and microwave on the landing, or a pool-side room (one double and one twin) with their own bar fridge and microwave. All rooms are en-suite and have refreshment trays, TV's and Wi-Fi connection.
